Coronation Street's Cait Fitton has bid goodbye to co-star Paddy Bever after his soap exit.
The Lauren Bolton actor took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to her on-screen partner, whose story came to a head in Monday's episode (March 3).
Viewers saw Max Bolton (Bever) sentenced to six and a half years in prison after being found guilty of arson, having started the recent Platt family home fire.

"Team Lax," her post caption began with a broken heart emoji. "What a journey it’s been... Coming into this, I never thought I’d be lucky enough to be paired with someone so hard working and so dedicated.
"@paddybever you amaze me," she continued. "Thank you for the lifelong lessons you have taught me, for being my rock and my partner in crime throughout my journey so far and for being the most caring, talented and gorgeous soul you are."

For the post, Fitton shared a compilation video of some of Lauren and Max's best scenes, thanking a fan account for the edit.
Bever reacted to Fitton's post in the comments section, writing: "Oh Cait" with a heart emoji.
Announcing his exit from the soap in a statement back in January, Bever said his time on the ITV soap was "unforgettable" adding: "While I look forward to what lies ahead, I will treasure these memories."
