Coronation Street has revealed the first hints at how Bethany Platt will leave the soap as actor Lucy Fallon goes on maternity leave.
The last 12 months have been difficult for Bethany after she wound up in hospital after a botched liposuction procedure in Turkey went wrong.
The start of 2025 doesn't mark the end of her troubles, with boyfriend Daniel Osbourne about to find out his ex-fiancée Daisy Midgeley is pregnant after the two had a one-night stand.

Bethany actor Lucy recently revealed she was expecting her second child with footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson, and will be taking a leave of absence from the soap.
Upcoming episodes seem to tease what will take Bethany away from the cobbles as she and her loved ones gear up to celebrate Daniel's son Bertie's birthday.
