Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid has another grisly task on his hands after claiming another victim.

Todd Boyce, who plays Stephen, has been pictured working on location as the show films the next chapter of his sinister storyline.

New paparazzi photographs show Stephen trying to dispose of his latest victim Teddy Thompkins.

After stashing the body away in a roof box, Stephen struggles with his emotions as he tries to remove all the evidence of his crime.

Stephen has already taken the life of Teddy's son Leo, pushing him from the Underworld balcony in September last year.

This Friday's episode (January 20) sees Teddy's memories return following the recent road accident on the cobbles, which saw him get hit by a van outside The Rovers.

When Teddy remembers that he was suspicious of Stephen just before the accident, he confronts the villain and rightly accuses him of killing Leo.

The showdown moves into Underworld, where Stephen strikes again by hitting Teddy over the head in a fatal attack.

Corrie star Todd recently spoke to Digital Spy and other media about this story, explaining: "Stephen killing Teddy is pre-meditated. At first, Stephen thinks that he's going to try everything he can to talk Teddy down and talk him around.

"Stephen knows that if that doesn't work, he's probably going to have to kill him. With Leo, he was just hiding financial malfeasance – that's why he wanted to not report Leo's kind-of-accidental death.

"But now that he's got one body down, he's perfectly willing to cover that up with another murder."

Corrie's producer Iain MacLeod recently teased a long-term story arc for Stephen, confirming that he'll be driven "into increasingly desperate acts over the next 12 months".

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
