Coronation Street hints Gary Windass could still be caught out

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Gary Windass may think that his past wrongdoings are safe from ever being exposed in Coronation Street, but it seems that he may still have cause for concern in the coming weeks.

Viewers have seen Kelly growing suspicious of Gary after he swooped into rescue her when one of her fathers' associates held her hostage.

That rescue saw the dark side of Gary emerge once again and while Kelly believes that it was her mum who killed Rick, she may be getting closer to learning that it was actually Gary.

While happy that he saved her, Kelly is shaken by the side of Gary that she saw, and fully believes that it would not have taken much for an angry Gary to have killed her captors.

At the same time, Gary sees that Maria is struggling with the online trolling she's experiencing and wants to protect her.

When recently asked whether Kelly would discover who killed her father, actor Mikey North said: "I have absolutely no idea what would happen. It'll be huge whenever that happens.

"I guess that's what we're building towards – how their relationship will develop over time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll transpire with those two. And as they grow closer, it'll be even more explosive."

Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Ryan Connor is facing the possibility of a prison sentence after getting involved with one of Debbie Webster's schemes.

He's not the only one in trouble with the law, as Stu Carpenter will soon find himself arrested.
