Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Debbie Webster is in some serious financial trouble in Coronation Street and she's desperate to find a way out of it – but Ryan Connor is also in a dire situation after Debbie made a shocking request.
Wanting his help to get herself out of financial ruin and knowing how much Ryan himself is in need of some cash, Debbie suggested staging a break-in at The Bistro so they can claim on the insurance.
Ryan was understandably nervous about getting involved in one of Debbie's schemes, but he felt his hands were tied and agreed. Unfortunately for Ryan, the plan soon backfires when he's caught on CCTV and swiftly arrested on suspicion of theft, in scenes airing later this week.

Now, Ryan Prescott has been talking about what's next for the character – and whether he'll throw Debbie under the bus for double-crossing him, after she acted just as surprised as everyone else by the theft instead of stepping in to help him out.
What to Read Next
"He could bring her into this at any time but I'm not sure he will for two reasons," Prescott explained. "Firstly, he's developing a relationship with her, their friendship is sort of a blessing in disguise, and he does see that she's drowning in debt, and he can relate.

"Secondly, if she goes down then there's no way for them to claim the insurance. If she isn't caught there's still a way for him to get his cut of the money, even if the worst happens and he has to do some jail time, then he can make his escape from Weatherfield after that."
Prescott added that Ryan found the insurance job appealing as in his eyes, it was a "victimless crime... he doesn't want to hurt anyone".
He added that things quickly backfire when the police start to question him and "he immediately regrets what he's done".
Prescott added that Ryan is worried about what others think, as "within days the whole street seems to know and turns against him". However, he added: "When Ronnie shows up for him and proves that even a stranger can have your back, it shows him some morality and I think will influence his decision on what to do."
As for whether he thinks that there's still hope for the character to redeem himself after getting into his latest bout of strife, Prescott remained optimistic.
"I feel like he's got a good heart and he's not really had the opportunity to show it – weirdly this might be that opportunity, as scary as it is," he explained.
"It could be a real coming of age moment for him. No-one cares enough to hear his side of the story and he realises in that moment that his family are gone and he's very much alone in this."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and streams on the ITV Hub.
