Coronation Street spoilers follow.
The cobbles were thrown in a panic during Friday's (May 21) hour-long episode of Coronation Street, as Sam Blakeman got drawn into Sharon Bentley's evil plans.
After clocking that Sam and Natasha were going to have tea with Gail, Sharon got in touch with Harvey to have his sidekick Noddy kidnap the boy while he was out wandering the streets alone since his mum didn't realise his astronomy club wasn't actually on.

As Sam approached No. 8, Noddy lured him into his van with a telescope and slammed the doors shut behind him before driving off to abandoned grounds.
When Natasha went to pick up Sam and realised he wasn't there, she remembered she couldn't even contact him since she confiscated his phone earlier that day because he got in touch with Nick.

Natasha started worrying as the news spread around, but not everyone seemed too worried since Sam has a history of running away. Sharon then took the opportunity to start meddling.
She went to see Gail and urged her to tell her where Nick is hiding. When she revealed he was in hiding after having some bad run-ins with a drug gang, Sharon insinuated that maybe the drug could have gang kidnapped Sam to lure Nick out.
While Gail didn't want to believe this at first, Sharon's words ultimately convinced her, leaving her in tears over the disappearance of Sam.

Meanwhile, Sam managed to keep himself calm while in the back of the van, singing to himself for comfort as he was obviously scared about where he was and what could happen next.
Throughout the whole ordeal, Sharon seemed upset at herself for having gone to such lengths in her evil plotting, but how long will she keep Sam trapped before she achieves her goals?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30pm on ITV.
