Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) faces making a dangerous enemy in the form of abusive Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew).
Daniel has recently been pursuing a relationship with sex worker Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) and his feelings for her caused him to berate Geoff earlier this week for the way he has treated vulnerable sex workers.
He then took things a step further by stealing some money from Geoff and when Geoff finds out the truth, he almost certainly won't respond kindly.

Rob appeared on This Morning today (September 25) and revealed to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that Daniel is taking a risk by crossing Geoff, but that he has good intentions.
"He (Geoff)'s not the best person to cross but he's doing it for a good cause," Rob said.

"It's one of those things I think isn't it ... you start making moral decisions, you go, 'Well I think this person's a bad person and I think she's a good person, so in my head morally this makes sense'," he later added. "It's not right though obviously, it's stealing!"
Rob also spoke about Daniel's complex relationship with Nicky, saying that he doesn't judge Daniel for paying her for her company, or for the fact that he had been asking her to dress in clothing belonging to his late wife Sinead, who passed away from cervical cancer last year.

"In grief, people do do strange things and I couldn't judge the character on what he was doing," Rob said. "To me, it wasn't creepy, it was more like closure because of everything that happened towards the end of Sinead's life.
"There was no closure. It wasn't a beautiful death from his perspective, he let himself and her down during that. There were lots of feelings that he hadn't been able to deal with. And somehow by being with someone who just dressed and smelt like her, that offered him some sort of psychological closure. I thought it was an interesting storyline."
Rob added that there is a "big Sinead shaped hole in (Daniel's life)" and that his feelings for Nicky could be "sweet but a bit misguided potentially".
Unfortunately Daniel's theft will have an impact on Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), as Geoff furiously accuses her of taking his cash and guilty Daniel witnesses the row – having already made the decision to hand over the cash to Nicky to help her start a new life.
Will Geoff discover the truth?
