Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Sean Tully will be left fearing Todd Grimshaw is dead next week.
Todd last appeared on the cobbles in 2017 but was hastily written out of the soap following Bruno Langley's axe.
However, upcoming scenes will see Todd return to Weatherfield after running into a spot of trouble, with Gareth Pierce taking over the role.

Episodes airing later this week will see Mary and Sean make a shocking discovery after opening Eileen's post.

After learning that Todd urgently needs £1,000, and wants them to hide it in Victoria Gardens, Mary, Sean and Billy plant a bag of fake cash in an attempt to trap him when he arrives to pick it up.
Unfortunately their plan backfires, and by time next week arrives, Todd is nowhere to be seen.

Desperately worried about Todd, Sean searches various social media sites hoping for clues – but to no avail.
With their searches proving futile, Billy confides in Paul over how worried Sean is about Todd, convinced he's in some sort of trouble.
When Sean calls round with a birthday present for Paul, he tells Billy about his failed attempts to track Todd down.

Billy reckons they've got no option but to go to the police, and he and Sean later report Todd as a missing person.
With Todd now officially on the missing persons' list, Sean and Billy meet up with the Finding People charity, which assures them it will do everything it can to try to find Todd.

Keen to pursue his own search regardless, Sean trawls through the missing persons' database – despite Billy's reservations.
Through doing this, Sean soon discovers that a man's body was found in the river yesterday, leaving him devastated. What will he do next?
