Adam Barlow has once again ended his relationship with Sarah Platt in Coronation Street.
The last few weeks have seem Adam (Sam Robertson) increasingly at odds with Sarah (Tina O'Brien) because she continues to protect Gary's (Mikey North) secret that he killed Rick last year.
In Monday's (August 17) episode, tension hung in the air as Gary and Maria Connor's (Samia Longchambon) wedding arrived on the cobbles.
The wedding was held up when David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) confronted the groom, demanding that he choose once and for all whether he truly wanted Maria or Sarah.
"You can't go through with it, can you? Not if you still have feelings for Sarah," David insisted.

Though the thought of reconciling with Sarah tempted him, Gary ultimately turned up for the wedding — with apologies all around for being late.
The couple would go on to tie the knot, as Gary revealed that he would be whisking his bride away for a honeymoon in Wales.
Meanwhile, a distraught Sarah was desperately trying to get back with Adam. Her on-off partner was deeply conflicted, offering the choice that she'd have to turn Gary in to the police if she was serious about reconciling.
When Sarah once again refused to turn on her former lover because she'd also incriminate herself, Adam decided he'd had enough.
"However you try and spin this, you're still choosing him over me — and I just will not be second best to a scumbag like him," Adam insisted. "Don't worry, I'll keep your secrets and his, but I won't let you treat me like an idiot, Sarah.
"I'm done. I'm done. This marriage is over."
Is this truly the end for Adam and Sarah?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV.
