Coronation Street had fans cheering at their TVs tonight (June 10) for two reasons, with the first being that Yasmeen Metcalfe pleaded 'not guilty' in court to attacking Geoff.
Later on in the episode, Sally finally placed herself firmly on Team Yasmeen when she made the big decision to ask Geoff to leave her and Tim's house.
Her suspicions have been building up for a while now, and although she couldn't convince Tim that his Dad has been "playing the victim", she put her foot down and said she didn't want him there because it made her feel uncomfortable.

Fans on Twitter cheered Sally on, with one calling her a "legend" for speaking her mind so frankly.
Another fan even referenced Tim's whole Vegas marriage situation, stating: "Actually Tim it's Sally house so she can do whatever the hell she likes. (They're) NOT married after all so he really DOESN'T get a say."

Tim actor Joe Duttine recently hinted that things may not run so smoothly for the character and Sally in coming weeks either, as he teased that their upcoming wedding has had to be rewritten due to the ongoing pandemic.
