Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's coercive control and abuse storyline featuring Yasmeen and Geoff Metcalfe has been going on for a while now, with things reaching a head as Yasmeen finally struck back at Geoff after he told her that he should kill her.
Two characters that haven't really been as involved in the storyline as fans might expect are Geoff's son Tim, and Tim's wife Sally. Obviously that is because a lot of the abuse has been happening behind closed doors, but now that is about to change.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Corrie producer Iain MacLeod stated: "Sally has never been Geoff's biggest fan and she was among the first to have seen what was going on behind closed doors next door. This provides huge material for her and Tim.
"Obviously Tim, in his own way, has been brainwashed and gaslighted by Geoff since birth more or less. So he's very much Team Geoff, while Sally very quickly becomes Team Yasmeen.
"There's a lot of story in the coming weeks coming out of the tensions that creates in that relationship and the difficulties that poses for them as a married couple, with polar opposite views over what was going on next door. It's a really interesting and complicated story."

He also stated that Yasmeen's road to recovery will be a slow one, as the complicated feelings she has been experiencing won't just go away overnight because she attacked Geoff.
"What we were quite keen to show is that, yes she attacked him on Friday, but we didn't want to short circuit her psychology and the complex emotions she feels after having done that," MacLeod explained. "This comes very much from our research and talking to people who have been through this.
"Even if you finally have snapped, it doesn't mean that you don't still have this insidious, controlling character under your skin. It's not that she suddenly wakes up the next day and realises that he's been abusing her.
"It's a slow road for her to accept what she's been through and see it was abuse. We'll see a lot of her wrestling with what she's done, and her friends and family try to lead her out of the darkness and into the light."
MacLeod has also defended the intensity of Geoff and Yasmeen's scenes, while teasing that more of the former's past will be revealed in the future.
Coronation Street currently airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30pm on ITV.
