Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has revealed a first look at Carla Connor as she takes over the Rovers Return.
Carla (Alison King) and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will be temporarily moving in to run the pub in order to allow Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) to accompany Johnny (Richard Hawley) to France so they can visit Eva Price.
In these new pictures from the soap's upcoming episodes, it looks like Carla is already getting into the swing of things as she practises pulling pints behind the bar.
Of course, Johnny's real motive for his trip with Jenny is to get away from new lodger Scott, who arrives at the Rovers looking to rent the pub's spare room on a long let.
While Scott (Tim Roberts) quickly endears himself to Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) and Jenny is looking forward to having some extra money coming in, Johnny is secretly stunned to realise that he recognises the new arrival.

Johnny tries his best not to show Jenny that he's worried but quickly suggests that they should pay a visit to Eva in France. Unfortunately for Johnny, despite his best efforts, he ends up coming face-to-face with Scott, who greets him as an old friend.
Later in the week, Johnny and Jenny leave for the airport but Johnny is left uneasy when Scott assures him there are no hard feelings about the past.
What could Johnny be hiding? And will it be another setback for his relationship with Jenny?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, April 20 and Wednesday, April 22 at 7.30pm on ITV.
