Johnny Connor's mysterious history with newcomer Scott is set to be teased even further in upcoming Coronation Street episodes.
With spoiler imagery available on the ITV website, we know that the two will come face-to-face at the Rovers Return very soon, but just what kind of relationship did they used to have?
As Johnny and his wife Jenny gear up to visit Eva over in France – Carla and Peter are temporarily running the pub – he bumps into Scott, who "greets him like an old friend".

Later on, before leaving for the airport, "Scott assures Johnny that there are no hard feelings about the past", but what has the landlord been hiding all this time?
Could there be some skeletons in Johnny's closet?
Scott's introduction airs this week, when he turns up to rent the spare room at the Rovers Return on a long let.
