Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has confirmed that the tables will turn on scheming Charles at Still Waters next week.
Charles (Michael Elwyn) has made enemies of Ken Barlow and Norris Cole in recent weeks, as they've caught him out for issuing bogus fines to the residents at the retirement complex.
Next week's episodes see Ken (Bill Roache) try to launch a fightback, wanting to knock Charles off his perch once and for all.

Ken and Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) start off by throwing a drinks party for their fellow residents, hoping to win them over. Unfortunately, they're given a wake-up call over their unpopularity when nobody bothers to show up.

Ken, Claudia and Norris (Malcolm Hebden) soon find Charles entertaining everyone in the bar, popular as ever in his position as residents' chair. It seems this is going to be an uphill struggle.
Later in the week, Charles confidently challenges Ken to a fencing match – and is more smug than ever when he easily wins.
Charles even suggests that they should do it again the following week, leaving Ken feeling humiliated and furious.

Norris tells Ken not to worry, as he took the opportunity to rifle through Charles's sports bag when he was busy jousting.
Norris found the Still Waters rule book inside and is now looking forward to scrutinising it closely to see how it matches up to Charles's constant fines.
Ken, Claudia and Norris do their research and are vindicated when they find evidence that Charles has been ripping off the residents left, right and centre.
This discovery could be game over for Charles – but what will the trio do with the information?
