Coronation Street's Gemma Winter will receive an official diagnosis next week after bravely seeking help for her troubles.
Gemma is about to reach a turning point, as she finally accepts that she needs support after an incident with the quads.
In Wednesday's episode (April 8), Gemma leaves her babies on a bus, forcing Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) to rush to the rescue.
Afterwards, Gemma confides in Chesney about her dark moods and he decides to take her to the medical centre.

When Gemma is open with Dr Gaddas about how much she's struggling, she receives an official diagnosis of post-natal depression.
Once back home again, Gemma breaks down and Chesney tries his best to show support, holding her close.
Gemma's mum Bernie is also on hand to help, promising to cover Chesney's shifts at the kebab shop for the foreseeable future.

This frees up Chesney to spend more time at home helping with the babies – and Gemma is deeply touched by her mother's kind gesture.
Dolly-Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma, recently said: "[The story] is really important. It would have been easy just to have lots of comedy with Gemma and the quads, but that would have been unrealistic if we didn't show the struggles she is having.
"As the story develops it becomes clear to Gemma that this is more than just the baby blues and tiredness and she will be forced to come to terms with the fact that she is ill and needs help."
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, April 13 at 7.30pm on ITV.
