Tonight’s (September 2) double bill of ITV’s Coronation Street saw a fiery return (quite literally) for Fiz Stape's daughter Hope.
Just moments after the pair made it back to Weatherfield, having been in Birmingham where Hope attended a specialist school for her behavioural issues, the problem child was yet again wreaking havoc upon the cobbles.
In the first episode, Fiz and partner Tyrone Dobbs argued, leaving the former's daughter to slip out of the house unnoticed with a lighter hidden inside of a toy doll.
When they realised Hope had done a runner, Fiz and Tyrone called the police as they frantically rallied a search party.
Meanwhile, Hope snuck into the Underworld where she pulled out the lighter and set fire to some materials, only to then find herself trapped in the blazing factory site.
Luckily, Ali Neeson, on his way to a charity event with Maria Connor, heard Hope's screams and bravely jumped over the wall to save her while the others called for help.

In episode two, Ali entered the factory where he pulled a number of gas canisters away from the flames before helping Hope to escape unscathed.
However, the problems were far from over. When Hope was questioned by the police over how the blaze started, she put the blame on two lads who she claimed fled the scene.
The lie caused a division between Fiz and Tyrone, who were split over whether Hope was telling the truth.
Knowing her history, Tyrone was (rightly) untrusting towards the claims, whereas Fiz believed her daughter's tear-fuelled story.
Once again, the couple were in disagreement. What's more, Hope's actions almost resulted in catastrophe for the entire town, raising fresh concerns over her future.
As the daughter of dead serial killer John Stape, will she continue to follow in his footsteps? Either way, it's safe to say that her behavioural issues are far from over.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
