Coronation Street's Carla Connor will make a risky move ahead of the Underworld collapse, as she blackmails Beth Tinker into keeping quiet.
Carla (Alison King) has recently been hit by two big dilemmas in the aftermath of the boat fire that nearly killed Simon Barlow.
Not only has Carla embarked on a massive cover-up to try to keep Roy Cropper out of trouble, but she's recently been informed by Gary Windass that the factory roof is no longer safe, either.
With Underworld sustaining substantial damage during the fire, scenes earlier this week saw Gary explain that the complicated repair job will cost £60,000.
Unfortunately, things will go from bad to worse for Carla next week when she tells Gary about a leak in the factory ceiling that she wants him to repair as cheaply as possible.
When Gary reminds her that the whole roof needs replacing, Carla is irritated and accuses him of simply wanting more money.

Determined to cut corners, Carla ramps up her plans to outsource production to a cheaper factory and starts researching ways to do this.
However, when an intrigued Beth spots some info on Carla's computer, she quickly becomes embroiled in the secret when she questions what's going on.
Not wanting her to blab, Carla assures Beth that if she keeps quiet, she'll make it worth her while. But will Beth agree? And is Carla heading down a dangerous path?
Corrie fans know that this is all paving the way for the much-hyped Underworld roof collapse, which is due to air next month.
