Wicked 2's first trailer is finally coming for fans to savour – but it won't be released online first.

The eagerly-anticipated sequel, officially titled Wicked: For Good, will take us all back to Oz this November, reuniting us with Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) for the epic conclusion to Wicked.

In a new post on Instagram, Erivo and Grande revealed that the Wicked 2 trailer will be debuted on a one-night-only re-release of Wicked in cinemas in the US and Canada on Wednesday 4 June.

It's likely the trailer will then be released online that week, hopefully the next day, but it's not yet confirmed whether this special trailer debut will happen on the same day in the UK and other cinemas worldwide.

The trailer first debuted exclusively last month at CinemaCon for attendees only, leading to fans demanding that the footage be released online.

Wicked: For Good's first trailer is said to tease fans with the first listen to classic songs from Act Two of the musical like 'No Good Deed' and 'For Good', as well as footage of Dorothy walking the Yellow Brick Road and Glinda's wedding.
