Wicked: For Good has grossed more than $500 million worldwide and is still playing on cinemas everywhere, but if you've missed out or fancy a rewatch, the sequel is now available to watch from the comfort of your own home.

As a New Year treat, Universal released Wicked: For Good on digital platforms in late December in the US and in early January in the UK. You can buy or rent the musical smash from the likes of Prime Video and AppleTV in the UK right now.

But if you're waiting for it to be available on a streaming service you've subscribed to, then here's when you can expect it.

When will Wicked: For Good be available to stream?

As mentioned above, Wicked: For Good is not available to watch on any streaming service at the time of writing. You'll also likely be waiting a few months to stream it in the US and are in for an even longer wait in the UK.

Wicked was released on Peacock – the first streaming service for any Universal release in the US – on 21 March 2025. That's four months after its cinema release in November 2024, meaning it's possible that Wicked: For Good won't arrive on Peacock in the US until mid-to-late March 2026.

What to Read Next

Some Universal releases end up on Peacock earlier, such as Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale arriving only two months after its cinema release. However, with Wicked: For Good expected to be a massive box-office hit, we'd expect the same timeline as the first movie.

It's worse news in the UK as Wicked didn't arrive on Sky Cinema – the first streaming service for any Universal release in the UK – until July 2025, a full eight months after its cinema release. The same timeline for the sequel means Wicked: For Good won't be available to stream in the UK on Sky Cinema until July 2026.
