Wicked: For Good spoilers follow.

Wicked fans are demanding that Universal releases a trailer for Wicked: For Good after an on-stage sneak peek.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both appeared on stage with director Jon M Chu and producer Marc Platt at CinemaCon to showcase some footage of the second part of the musical's big screen adaptation.

The screened footage begins with the song 'No Good Deed', as Elphaba begins her revolution against the Wizard by trying to publicly discredit him.

There are also glimpses of Glinda's wedding, Fiyero pointing a gun, Elphaba and Glinda talking about their friendship, Dorothy and friends walking the Yellow Brick Road, and the song 'For Good'.

Things end with Elphaba confronting the Wizard, and flying away on her broom with the flying monkeys behind her, before cutting to the title.

Fans have been discussing the footage in various Reddit threads, and the overwhelming feeling is that what was shown sounds so exciting that Universal needs to release either the sneak peek or a full trailer as soon as possible.

"Need to see it so bad. I want to see how many non-stage musical new scenes they show!" wrote fan.

"Not me rapid fire scrolling through TikTok in the hopes that someone has uploaded a grainy bootleg," wrote another fan, a sentiment echoed in comments like "Somebody HAD to have been recording, right? right?!?!?" and "I'll take a 5 second clip at this point."

"This is just plain [sic] cruel," wrote one particularly dramatic fan. "People are bragging about how they got to see a first look and us outsiders only get to hear about it

"I don't get to see it? And I don't know when I get to see it? Universal, do you enjoy torturing your fans?" complained another commenter.

Wicked: For Good will release in cinemas on November 21. The first can be purchased or rented digitally, or bought on disc.
