Emma has just found itself a new streaming home in the UK. As of today, the 2020 movie is now available on Netflix, which is currently the only subscription service that film is available on at the time of writing.
The film adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel boasts a star-studded cast, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Josh O'Connor, Callum Turner, Johnny Flynn, Mia Goth, Miranda Hart and Bill Nighy.
Unlike a lot of literary heroines of the time, Emma isn't a poor woman looking to marry for both love and wealth.

She's already rich and likes to spend her time meddling in other people's romantic affairs and playing matchmaker. Unfortunately for her, her plan to set up her friend Harriet Smith leads to all sort of scandal.
The movie directorial debut of celebrity photographer and music video director August de Wilde, the film received a host of nominations at the BAFTAs, the Golden Globes, and the Academy Awards.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the film currently has a very impressive critic score of 86% positive from 260 reviews.
"It's funnier than most Austen adaptations and more visually beautiful," wrote the San Francisco Chronicle, while The Standard said "it has an energy all of its own" when compared to previous versions. Meanwhile, The Spokesman-Review described it as "utterly intoxicating".

The Independent dubbed it "a decadent, fondant-swaddled delight", while veteran critic Richard Roeper pointed out a "scene-stealing hoot" of a performance from Nighy.
Rolling Stone stated that The Queen's Gambit's Taylor-Joy was the highlight of the film though, calling her "incandescent" and "so good at finding the seductive danger in wide-eyed beauty".
It's not the only film that has been added to Netflix today, as the service has also dropped 2000's Charlie's Angels and the brand-new original film Enola Holmes 3, starring Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham Carter.
