This article contains spoilers for Office Romance.
Midway through Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein's new Netflix film Office Romance, after their characters Jackie and Daniel have hooked up for the first time, there's a scene (one hour in) where he accidentally discovers her secret room.
Rather than being anything disturbing, it's a room full of British paraphernalia.

As Jackie explains why she has such a room, she plays with some Union Flags and Daniel holds up a Paddington Bear, but did you notice everything in the background?
Maybe not because it's not always in focus and obviously it's hard not to look at JLo and Brett Goldstein, but elsewhere in the scene there's a Star Baker apron from The Great British Bake Off, a Harry Kane shirt, PG Tips, tins of Heinz, Ambrosia and Golden Lyle, a throne, Walker's crisps and some plush corgis.

"It's a joke, it's all a joke", Jackie protests when Daniel discovers her room.
"I like British stuff, you know, because my father was stationed there when I was a kid and I go there all the time and each time, you know, I pick up a little something from the airport. And after a while I just had all this British stuff laying around and Cindy was like, 'You should have a room of British stuff.'"

She continued: "And then every birthday and Christmas Cindy would buy me more British stuff, only because it was so funny to have a British room. As a joke."
It causes a bit of tension as Daniel thinks she's attracted to him as a "kink", but she insists it's not. In the next scene, he walks in dressed as in a Tower guard and tells her he has "a fetish for powerful women with perfect bums" and they get down to a little royal role-play.
It's not surprising that this big Netflix rom-com, which is still hanging around the top 10, features a lot of British stuff, given that Ted Lasso star Goldstein is one of the writers.
And of course, there's another British icon in the form of former Doctor Who actor Jodie Whittaker, who plays Daniel's sister Lizzy in one scene.
