If you're a fan of The Missing, then it's worth checking out Netflix's "gripping" mystery drama Colors of Evil: Black. Released today on the streamer, like its predecessor Colors of Evil: Red, the new movie is based on the crime thriller books by Małgorzata Oliwia Sobczak.
Black continues the story of prosecutor Leopold Bilski as he is transferred to "a seemingly peaceful town in Kashubia", as "the disappearance of yet another child exposes dark secrets and long‑hidden, uncomfortable truths come to light".
"Following a trail of disturbing signs, psychological puzzles, and local legends, Bilski must confront the darkness lurking beneath the seemingly idyllic facades," the synopsis adds.

Directed by Adrian Panek, the Polish movie stars the likes of Jakub Gierszał, Marianna Zydek, Zdzisław Wardejn, Beata Ścibakówna, Adam Bobik, Andrzej Chyra and Bartosz Mikulak.
What to Read Next
The film hasn't had a huge amount of reviews so far, but of what has been written, the verdict is largely positive.
"It does hit hard and deals with intense and tragic subjects of many kinds," wrote Heaven of Horror. "Consider yourself warned, but also, do watch it on Netflix now."
Ready Steady Cut added: "Grim and unconventional in how it approaches its central mystery, Colors of Evil: Black is a sequel that expands on the ideas of its predecessor to often chilling effect."
"While small-town horror films are a dime a dozen, this one leaves you feeling rather disturbed by the time the end credits roll and the truth is exposed. It’s not without its problems, but overall, this one’s entertaining," Leisurebyte said.
Colors of Evil: Red attracted an 80% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes based on five reviews, with But Why Tho? calling it "a gripping and emotional tale".
Colors of Evil: Black is streaming now on Netflix.
