It looks like people are in the mood for a romantic comedy, as Netflix's new film Office Romance is the streamer's number one film worldwide at the moment, following its release on Friday.
The film stars Jennifer Lopez as the CEO of her family's airline company, and Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein as the recently hired in-house lawyer.
Although she's a no-nonsense businesswoman who stresses a 'no relationships between employees' rule, obviously they end up falling for each other.

The wider cast includes Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker, Veep's Tony Hale, Battlestar Galactica's Edward James Olmos, Glow's Betty Gilpin, The Mandalorian's Amy Sedaris, and Get Out's Bradley Whitford.
On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 51% positive score from critics at the time of writing, which isn't that surprising as the romantic comedy genre isn't one that always reviews well.

Furthermore, as Digital Spy's own write-up points out: "Office Romance never attempts to reinvent the genre.
"It's a classic romantic comedy built on familiar foundations: two attractive people who are clearly destined for one another, workplace obstacles standing in their way."

Slate called the film "saucy, silly, stupid, and fun", writing that: "Jennifer Lopez makes the perfect thing to turn on when you have to fold a bunch of laundry or ignore your sister who's visiting for spring break or while you get audited. Watching her gaze lovingly at some guy is a panacea for all that ails us: boredom, quietude, inertia. This—this!—is what Lopez was made for."
"Playful and cottony and just peculiar enough to be memorable, Office Romance ultimately gives the people what they want," Variety stated, while TIME stated: "Office Romance works because Goldstein, best known for his supporting role on Ted Lasso, has enough charisma to stand up to Lopez's high-beam beauty. It probably doesn't hurt that he also cowrote the script."
