James Norton's sci-fi horror film Flatliners has just been added to Netflix in the UK and Ireland.
A remake of the 1990 film of the same name, the film follows five medical students who are seeking answers about the afterlife. Their experiments involve triggering near-death experiences that end up having dangerous and paranormal consequences.
Originally released in 2017, the film has a 4% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 77 reviews, with IndieWire describing it as "agonizingly boring".
Variety called it "inessential", while Screen International suggested that the film "should have carried a Do Not Resuscitate Order". For IGN the film "falls flat as a horror movie but the cast is good enough".
Norton is joined by The Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page, Andor actor Diego Luna, The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev, and Kiersey Clemons
