The KPop Demon Hunters sequel is making big strides after the record-breaking success of the first one.
The Sony Pictures film released on Netflix, and became the streaming service's biggest film of all time, and even released a sing-a-long cinema version.
A second film hasn't been officially greenlit yet, but The Hollywood Reporter says that Sony and Netflix are in talks.
The publication states that the two corporations are working out profit margins and all the numbers, and both parties need to be on board for the sequel to happen.
Given the huge success of the film, an official confirmation soon wouldn't be unexpected.

In addition to the film's huge success on Netflix, it also led to multiple songs from the soundtrack charting on the US' Billboard Hot 100 charts, with the song 'Golden' even topping the charts (the first time a song by a girl group has done so since Destiny Child's 'Bootylicious' in 2001).
