Mads Mikkelsen's revenge thriller, Riders of Justice, is now available to stream for free.

The Danish movie follows Markus (Mikkelsen), a soldier and father whose wife is suddenly killed during a train accident.

Having witnessed the deadly event, fellow passenger Otto (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) visits Markus to inform him that the attack was planned by a gang called the Riders of Justice.

Alongside statistics expert Lennart (Lars Brygmann) and computer hacker Emmenthaler (Nicolas Bro), the men embark on a dangerous quest to seek revenge against the gang.

The movie was released in Denmark in 2020, before making its way to UK cinemas the following year.

Meanwhile, in our 4-star review, Digital Spy pointed out the similarities between Riders of Justice and Liam Neeson's Taken franchise.

We highlighted that both movies featured "the trope in which a female character dies in order to spur the lead male on to action" but added that Riders of Justice is "so much more than a Taken rip-off".

"While anyone who likes a good action film will undoubtedly feel no qualms about heading to the cinema to watch Mikkelsen kick criminal butt, we're pleased to report that Riders of Justice is far savvier than any Taken film, and most action films out there."

Riders of Justice is available to stream on Channel 4.
