Sinners has confirmed its digital release date – and it's right around the corner.

The latest collaboration between writer-director Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan — who previously worked together on Black Panther and Creed — follows twin brothers who return to their hometown in 1930s Mississippi and throw a huge party for the Black community.

Unfortunately, not only does the spectre of racism and segregation hang over everything they do, but also the threat of a travelling band of vampires who see their gathering as the perfect opportunity for a feast.

Following wide critical acclaim and a healthy haul at the box office, Warner Bros UK has confirmed that Sinners will be available to rent or buy on digital platforms from 3 June, with the studio also sharing an on-set photo in the announcement via X.

Prime Video and Apple TV already have pre-order pages live if you want to watch as soon as its available next week, so there's plenty of options for one to sink their teeth into.

Sinners has been hugely praised by critics, and although it has lost its 100% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it is still Coogler's best-reviewed film with a 97% critic score from 365 reviews.

It has also been a box office hit after grossing just under $339 million worldwide against a $90 million budget. At the time of writing, Box Office Mojo ranks Sinners as the sixth highest-grossing film of the year so far.

For those of you who have seen the film already, you might be surprised to learn that its signature scene, a powerhouse musical sequence, was a last-minute addition to the screenplay.

"The script changed from the time I auditioned to the read-through with the cast," shared Wunmi Mosaku, who plays Annie. "The script I got two days before the read-through had the past and future ancestors in the scene, and I got chills. That extra detail, I was like, 'Wow, this man [Coogler] is a genius.'"

Sinners is still playing in cinemas, and will be available for digital purchase and renting on 3 June.
