Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have signed on to star in a new alien invasion comedy from the Zellner Brothers.
The pair are joining a star-studded cast, including Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux and Riley Keough (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Titled Alpha Gang, the upcoming film will follow a group of alien invaders - led by Blanchett's alien leader Alpha One - who disguise themselves as a 1950s biker gang as they set out on a mission to invade Earth.
However, their ruthless plans are derailed when they succumb to "humanity’s most contagious condition" - emotion.

Blanchett and the Zellner brothers will also produce the film alongside Coco Francini, Gina Gammell, Ryan Zacarias, Mary Aloe and Andrea Bucko.

The psychological thriller stars Naomi Ackie as Frida, a cocktail waitress who is invited for a dream vacation on billionaire tech mogul Slater King's (Tatum) private island. However, things soon turn sinister and Frida must uncover the truth if she hopes to make it out alive.

Blink Twice was well-received by critics, earning the film a fresh score of 75% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
"A bold and memorable debut that thrusts Zoë Kravitz into the turf of directors to watch, Blink Twice is a live wire of a film," reads the site's critical consensus.
Digital Spy's own review praised Blink Twice for highlighting the real-world dangers women face on a daily basis.
Despite teaming up for another film, Tatum and Kravitz have reportedly called off their engagement after three years together, according to People. However, the stars are yet to comment on the reports.
Alpha Gang is yet to receive a release date. Blink Twice is available to stream now on Prime Video and Apple TV+.
