Milla Jovovich has entered final negotiations for George RR Martin adaptation In the Lost Lands.
The Resident Evil actress is in line to star in the film based on three short stories by the Game of Thrones creator, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Shameless actor Justin Chatwin will also appear in the movie, written and directed by Constantin Werner (The Pagan Queen).
The film will join up three female-led stories by Martin.
Jovovich will play Gray Alys, a sorceress hired to help protect an endangered city by searching a haunted wasteland for a deadly magic.
The other threads focus on a warrior on a quest to slay a dragon and a barbarian in a futuristic world who finds herself ensnared by a space-faring witch.
