It sounds like something exciting is cooking up with Dynasty Warriors.
Fans of Koei Tecmo's long-running tactical action series can look forward to a "big announcement" later this year.
"Last year, we welcomed the 15th anniversary of the Dynasty Warriors series, and we were not able to deliver the news fans were expecting," producer Akihiro Suzuki said in a message to fans (via Gematsu).
"For that, we are very sorry. This year, we're preparing to be able to make a big announcement, so please look forward to it."
The first Dynasty Warriors game, which is also known as Shin Sangoku Musou, debuted in Japan in August 2000.
