Disney+ has finally unveiled an exciting first look at Camp Rock 3 ahead of its upcoming debut. The hugely anticipated movie will air on Disney Channel on 13 August, before arriving on the streaming service the following day.
Taking place almost 20 years after the original, the story follows popular boyband Connect 3 (played by the Jonas Brothers) as they return to their beloved camp in search of a supporting act for their huge reunion tour.
"As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances," reads the synopsis (via The Hollywood Reporter).

The movie features a host of brand new campers, all hoping to be discovered and launched into stardom. Earlier this week, Disney+ released a teaser trailer spotlighting the newbies as they embark on the biggest summer of their lives.
Among the fresh faces are determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreography star Callie (Brooklynn Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean) and bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).

Meanwhile, as well as the Jonas Brothers, the trailer also saw Maria Canals-Barrera reprising her role as former chef Connie Torres – who appears to have taken on a more central role in camp.
However, one person who was noticeably missing from the action was Connie's daughter and main protagonist of the first two movies, Mitchie Torres, played by Demi Lovato.
"I just hope Demi makes a cameo, because she's the girl who started it all," one fan commented on YouTube, with another echoing: "I really hope we get a Mitchie cameo in Camp Rock 3!!"
A third added: "I hope Mitchie is still with Shane! Even if she doesn't show up, a mention would be nice."
Though it seems Mitchie won't be returning to our screens, Lovato is still attached to the project, executive producing alongside the Jonas Brothers.
In addition to this, the trailer saw Sage finding Mitchie's old song book – meaning the fan-favourite character will at least be referenced in the upcoming threequel.
Camp Rock 3 will air on Disney Channel on 13 August and stream on Disney+ on 14 August.
