Will and Grace star Sean Hayes has been spotted filming for the upcoming season of The Morning Show. The popular Apple TV drama was renewed for a fifth instalment last year, with a release date yet to be announced.
The Morning Show, which first debuted in 2019, stars Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston as news anchors working at UBA, a successful American TV network.
Across the series, UBA staff deal are forced to deal with scandals, personal issues and global crises - all while trying to maintain their increasingly dwindling viewership.

Ahead of the fifth season, Deadline announced that Hayes would be joining the cast of the show in a major recurring role. The star will play Brodie "Bro" Hartman's quick-witted older brother and manager Wyatt.
New photos see Hayes in character as Wyatt, filming in New York City's Central Park alongside Billy Crudup, who plays UBA's CEO Cory Ellison.

In another photo, Wyatt is scowling at Cory, while the latter takes a defensive stance with his arms tightly folded. A third snap sees them both, side-by-side, looking irritated and confused by something out of the shot.

The photos also feature a large gold urn on the ground next to the men. Though it's unclear who it belongs to, it likely contains the ashes of Cory's mum Martha who died last season.
Meanwhile, Hayes isn't the only star joining the cast for season 5, as Jeff Daniels, Reneé Rapp and Jesse Williams are also making their debut on The Morning Show.
They will appear alongside returning actors Mark Duplass, Jon Hamm, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, and Nicole Beharie.
The Morning Show seasons 1-4 are streaming on Apple TV.
