Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Mariska Hargitay has sent internet into a frenzy with a surprise reunion with a co-star.
Hargitay, who plays Captain Olivia Benson on the popular procedural, reunited with co-star Christopher Meloni, known for the role of Detective Elliot Stabler on the same show.
The two were snapped as they strolled leisurely down the street and took a selfie. Hargitay had a cheeky caption to go with the three Instagram images, writing: "Just leaving this here" with a dancing twins emoji.

Someone else looked for clues that Meloni could be back on the show after returning in a guest capacity on season 25.
"Guess, you could say it's getting pretty serious if it's IG official!" they noted. "So, is Stabler officially off the market now, Captain?"
The show has recently returned for a new season, though Meloni's Stabler hasn't made an appearance for the time being.
Law & Order airs on Thursdays at 8pm ET on NBC, followed by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9pm and Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10pm. The shows air on Sky Witness in the UK, with select episodes available on NOW.
