James D'Arcy has teased a possible return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Avengers: Endgame.
The star, who is currently in new thriller series Deadline, famously played the role of Edwin Jarvis in TV show Agent Carter, before reprising it in Marvel mega-hit Endgame.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, D'Arcy recalled working in the MCU: "I loved the experience, and I was really lucky – the Russo brothers have been very, very good to me, and they very sweetly invited me back to be in Endgame briefly, which was great.
"Someone told me afterwards, I basically became a Trivial Pursuit-type question. I'm the only character who's gone from the television show to a film," he added, though he likely means the first given the likes of Charlie Cox moving over to the movie universe.
"And, you know, as I've said before, the Marvel universe is a funny old place. Nobody is ever dead. And now they're into the metaverse."
D'Arcy went on to reveal that he would be willing to go back, saying he "loved playing Jarvis".

"What I loved about Agent Carter was, it was a really strong, female-led show, in which the protagonist – so, Agent Carter, Hayley – was a decent person, trying to do decent things, and quite often doing them in a very entertaining and fun way," the star added. "I thought she was such a great role model for young women.
"And then there's this sort of ridiculous sidekick, which was me. And I just had so much – I hadn't ever really done any comedy before then."

Elaborating on the departure that the role was for him, D'Arcy explained that beforehand he was used to playing "period-dramas or psychopaths".
However, he added that it was a "lovely work balance", saying: "So to have this opportunity to have fun? Oh, God. I can't tell you. When we were shooting the show, I just felt lighter in my life."
Deadline will be available to watch on Channel 5 for four consecutive nights, starting on Tuesday, April 5 at 9pm.
