Marvel's Agents of SHIELD stars Henry Simmons and Natalia Cordova-Buckley have opened up about filming the series' final episode.
The Marvel spin-off show will be ending with its seventh and final season, with filming on the new series beginning back in February this year three months before season 6 even premiered.
Both Henry (SHIELD director Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie) and Natalia (Agent Elena 'Yo-Yo' Rodriguez) took a break from filming the final episode to attend this year's Comic-Con International, and while they were there we couldn't help but try and get some information about how the series wraps up.
Namely, will the show be filming multiple endings?
"Hmmm. Good question, good question," Henry told Digital Spy and other media at Comic-Con, while Natalia noted that they filmed multiple endings for season 5.

"Because we didn't know if we were coming back or not," Henry added. "But yeah, there's no more coming back."
"We know for sure we're done, so there's no need," Natalia confirmed.
Agents of SHIELD looked certain to end with season five before ABC saved the show with a last-minute renewal for season 6, but not before series lead Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) was killed off – even though the actor did return for the sixth outing.
Now that we know the series definitely will be ending after one more season, we can at least speculate on where the characters will end up. And, while Natalia shared that the ending is "never what we expect", Henry added that there's definitely some debate over whether it's the ending their characters "deserve".
"We haven't finished shooting the last episode," Henry explained. "So we're in the process. I still have some discussion with some people on things, so yeah, we'll see."
Earlier this month, Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb confirmed the series was concluding now so that it can "end on our terms" and promised that the show will be taking "greater risks" now that the end has been announced.
"I personally believe that every great Marvel story ends 'to-be-continued'," he added. "But the short answer is, yes, it will conclude in a way that is incredibly emotional and in the best way."
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD airs on Friday nights on ABC in the US, while E4 airs the show in the UK.
