Love Island viewers were left distracted during this Friday's (19 June) episode after a series of apparent glitches and mishaps cropped up throughout the show and Love Island: The Debrief. While the latest instalment was packed with drama, including the fallout from the Sleeppover twist and a shock double dumping, many fans found themselves focusing on the ITV2 show's technical issues instead.
As the episode was under way, social media quickly filled with comments from viewers questioning a first glitch, which occurred just as Aidan and Tina were exploring their connection. Later on, another glitch briefly interrupted The Debrief, hosted by Shakira Khan, Toni Laites and Yasmin Pettet.
Over on social media, the glitches quickly became a talking point. One viewer pointed out: "Did anyone else’s tv went weird just then on the love island debrief." Another added: "Someone getting fired cause what’s going on with the production over there." A third was clearly stunned as they penned: "DID ANYONES TV JUST GLITCH??" One fan echoed: "Anyone else’s episode just glitch the f out?"
