Simmering tensions finally erupted in the villa this Thursday (11 June) and Love Island viewers were left stunned after tensions between islanders finally boiled over. Samraj and Priya found themselves at the centre of the latest villa drama as disagreements stemming a recent challenge continued to dominate conversations.
The latest episode saw emotions run high following the fallout from the show's "It's Not That Deep" challenge, which exposed differing views amongst islanders and sparked a growing divide between the girls and boys.
Several relationships found themselves under pressure as disagreements spilled over into the evening, with Jasmine becoming one of the islanders caught up in the drama. As frustrations boiled over, Jasmine clashed with Aidan during a heated discussion, with tensions escalating as islanders attempted to clear the air following the challenge.
But the most shocking moment came when Priya and Samraj attempted to clear the air once and for all as their discussion quickly descended into an argument, with frustrations (and expletives) spilling out on both sides.

Viewers immediately reacted to the confrontation online, with many saying the same thing. "Please get Aidan and Samraj out of this villa they are just so nasty and started all of this btw," one viewer wrote.

Another one commented: "Mica needs a new bombshell man coz Samraj behaviour right now is not it." A third added: "I speak for everyone when i say samraj were so disappointed." One fan chimed in: "Priya has gone up in my books and Samraj has gone down. And Aidan still doesn’t even qualify. Sorry not sorry."
Several couples were left on the brink of separation after the series' first challenge. But while fan-favourites Lola and Sean managed to successfully move past their differences, other couples weren't as fortunate.

Jasmine and Kavan notably struggled following the challenge, and things were still on shaky ground by the time she locked horns with Kavan's brother, Aidan. However, Jasmine was left in tears after another tense conversation with the property broker as the episode drew to a close.
During "It's Not That Deep" the boys and girls were forced to make snap judgements about one another after being presented with a series of revealing confessions. Among the revelations were claims about wandering eyes, relationship red flags and past dating behaviours, leaving some islanders feeling unfairly judged.
While the challenge began in good spirits, tensions continued to build as several boys took issue with comments made by the girls during the challenge. But tensions began long before, in the aftermath of Angelista's kiss with bombshell Ope.
Conflict simmered after the pair's secret terrace encounter, which left Ope seething as he believed Angelista hadn't been truthful about her feelings for him. However, Ope and Simba were quickly able to reach a common ground, signalling the end of Ope and Angelista's relationship.
Love Island airs from Monday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2.
