They ended up coming second, and had appeared to be going strong since. However, Millie has now confirmed that their breakup – though they remain friends.

"Hey gang x Zac and I both love our lives and our homes, and that makes it harder to know what a future could be, so we’ve agreed that we’d prefer to remain friends x," she wrote on Snapchat.

Fans had speculated about their relationship after Millie recently returned from a visit to Zac in the US, after which she stayed quiet on social media.

In response to fan worries, she said (via The Sun): "I am all good… I do feel like I have been very quiet with content and haven’t been posting much on any platform really.

"I was away for a whole month and then last week was really busy with work and things I couldn’t actually show you guys. And then catching up with friends and family and I didn’t want my phone to be in my face or their faces… big catch ups were needed."

In other Love Island news, back in February All Stars contestant Curtis Pritchard addressed his failed romance with Millie on the recent season, after which she connected with Zac.

"I was sort of scared of pushing her away because I thought 'I'm gonna be myself 100%'," he told The Morning After podcast. "I ended up being myself 100% and I ended up pushing her away a little bit.

"So in one way I was a little bit like, 'Crap, I've done what I said I didn't want to do'. [But] in another way, I feel so comfortable in myself that I'm happy to show my emotions. If I'm feeling upset, I'll happily cry, it is what it is."

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX, and the 2026 season will launch on 1 June.
