Tom Daley has revealed what it's really like filming The Celebrity Traitors. The diver, who was recently 'killed' by Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns in this week's episodes, spoke exclusively with Digital Spy.
"You get to see the most important parts. There's so many conversations that happen throughout the day that can't be included, as it's not like a Big Brother livestream, but there's not much you don't get to see," Daley explained.
"What you see is what you get with the Traitors experience. What was really genuinely surprising to me, once you're in the game and you are in the castle, there is zero interference whatsoever at any point. You just get left to your own devices, and I think that's really special for a reality show. It's genuinely what happens there, is what happens."
Asked why it wasn't so obvious that Carr was a Traitor, Daley star reflected: "You don't pick up on it. On the show, you get to see close-ups of people's faces, but in real time, you aren't looking at their face the whole time, so you might not see or hear everything. You're in a big room with lots of people.
"It makes it more obvious as you are watching it back, but at the same time, it's crazy that it's been so obvious and no one seems to have to have twigged."

"It's been fascinating watching it because you have your own perspectives on what happens and then hearing what other people said, what they were suspecting, how different they were to your face, it's been fun," he added. "I'm watching it, not from my point of view, but as a fan of the show."
Daley, who became the second contestant to be murdered, told Digital Spy that he was "gutted" to leave the show so early on.

"Really, I just get FOMO. Obviously, you want to be able to see what happens and be there for it," he admitted. "But it was nice to be able to go back to my family a little bit earlier and not have to stay for the full three weeks.
"I wasn't expecting it, I thought I was going to get banished soon, as my name had been coming up, so it felt like it was a really random decision from the Traitors, but here we are."
The Celebrity Traitors airs Wednesday and Thursday nights at 9pm, and streams on BBC iPlayer. Companion show The Traitors Uncloaked follows straight afterwards on BBC Two.
