Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she was rushed to hospital following concerns over a blood clot, describing the ordeal as a "very weird bad dream".

The former Love Island star, who finished as a runner-up in the fifth season of the ITV reality show, shared via her YouTube vlog that she was recently hospitalised following her holiday to Dubai with Tommy Fury.

"I've had the weirdest couple of days since I've got back from holiday. Last night feels like a really weird, bad dream and I need to tell you guys about it," she began, before confirming that she refrained from sharing via Instagram as it was "out of her comfort zone".

"Basically, I had my first A&E experience last night - it was so weird," she continued. "Yesterday, I thought I had a blood clot in my leg. Flying home from Dubai, I was on the plane for nearly eight hours and didn't move as much as I probably should've."

After admitting that she had "very limited movement" across the space of two days, Molly-Mae shared that she suffered the "most excruciating pain" behind her knee after standing up, adding that it was a "sharp, stabbing pain".

"I had it for about four hours and nothing would shake it. It moved down into my calf [muscle], my ankle and then my foot. I was like: 'what is going on?'" she continued, before explaining that she searched her symptoms into ChatGPT.

After being sent into a "spiral of panic", the reality star divulged that she called emergency services, where she was urged to go to A&E. After briefly being checked and told to wait for further updates, Molly-Mae shared that she decided to go home after being there "for hours".

The star continued that the pain in her leg had "dispersed" by the time she woke the following morning, with a return visit to A&E occurring after she suffered a "dizzy spell". After being checked again, she confirmed that "everything was fine".

Molly-Mae, who recently rekindled her relationship with Tommy, concluded by explaining that it was "important" to share the story as it was "something you'd never think would happen", adding that she was "happy to be feeling alright".
