Are you a fan of the retro fantasy novels The Dark is Rising written by Susan Cooper? If so, you might have another reason to tune into Sky very soon.
According to Radio Times, the books are currently in line to be turned into a TV film or series and most likely, the project will be heading to Sky 1.
Based on the life of character Will Stanton, who at eleven learns he has special powers, the books were a hit with imaginative children after being released in the sixties.
If the show proves a hit, Harry Potter fans may finally have a new outlet for all those fantasy adventure cravings.
Either way, we're sure the new adaptation will pack more of a punch than the 2007 adaptation which bombed, basically.
