The Vampire Diaries' lead stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are set to reunite for a twisty new "suspense" drama titled You Deserve to Know. Adapted for the screen by Brian Tanen and based on Aggie Blum's 2025 novel of the same name, the drama follows three suburban couples who are also best friends.
After one of their husbands is brutally murdered, a trail of secrets comes to light, and their friendship is torn apart.
According to Deadline, Dobrev and Wesley will star as Gwen and Scott, respectively. They are described as "two neighbours on opposite sides of a murder investigation" that end up on "a collision course".

Dobrev and Wesley will also executive-produce the project, which hails from Alex Cooper's Unwell. Tanen and Thompson will also serve as executive producers alongside Unwell’s Cooper, Matt Kaplan and Mina Lefevre.
Kapital’s Jaiden Kaplan serves as co-executive producer alongside Dylan Hammalian, Paul Kim, and Kendall Boucher.
