Loyalties comprises four new episodes that see Leela and Romana involved in the power struggle at the height of Gallifreyan society.
The series' synopsis reads: "With Cardinal Ollistra now in charge of the War Room, the other Time Lords, including the General and Rasmus, must follow her lead – or find a way to unseat her. But Rassilon has returned – and he’s growing impatient about the progress of the war…"
The Worlds of Doctor Who – Gallifrey: War Room: Loyalties is now available to purchase for just £19.99 (download to own) or £24.99 for the collector’s edition CD box set, which is limited to just 1,000 copies, exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

Speaking about the series, Louise Jameson said: "What I love about this set is the range that it gives Leela. I’ve really been challenged. What’s been explored is Leela’s vulnerability. She doesn’t often get to show it – she’s always the warrior – so to actually see her confidence knocked is really interesting."
Lalla Ward added: “It’s strange enough being back in England, never mind back on Gallifrey! But actors are used to this, and I get back into Romana pretty easily, especially when it’s this well written.
"It’s wonderful being back working with Louise – we’ve had some really good times working together. And from Romana’s point of view, it’s wonderful being back in the orbit of Leela! They’re an interesting pair of very different people."

Meanwhile, earlier this month it was confirmed that Doctor Who would not be airing a Christmas special this year.
Explaining the decision, the BBC said in a statement: "After careful consideration, the BBC, Russell T Davies and [production company] Bad Wolf have collectively decided not to go ahead with the previously announced Doctor Who Christmas episode.
"This decision was not taken lightly, and we know it will be disappointing for fans, but in order to set the show up for future series, it was decided that rather than bridge the gap with a one-off special, we are choosing to push forward to invest in the long-term future of the show which ensures that when the TARDIS lands once more, it does so in all its glory."
