Australian courtroom series Cape Rock Killer has soared into ITVX's most-watched chart after its debut on the platform. The season forms the third part of The Twelve, itself adapted from Belgian show De twaalf.
The premise follows various cases, with Sam Neill starring as defence barrister Brett Colby SC across all three seasons.
"This season, the stakes are higher and more personal than ever as Colby is thrust into a sensational murder trial to defend the husband of a lifelong friend," the synopsis for the third chapter reveals.

"As the trial unfolds, it reopens a chilling 1968 cold case involving two teenagers, forcing the twelve jurors to confront a mystery that threatens to unravel their own lives."
Cape Rock Killer was recently added to the streamer, and has quickly proved popular with viewers, sitting at the number nine spot in the Top 10 Most Watched list.

Alongside Neill, season three stars Xena: Warrior Princess' Danielle Cormack, Heavenly Creatures' Sarah Peirse, Wentworth's Bessie Holland, Bump's Nathalie Morris and Love Me's Eryn Jean Norvill.
The first season of The Twelve received a mixed verdict from critics, with The Age saying it "doesn’t reinvent the courtroom drama, but the many detailed strands give it a bitter momentum", and that "fans of the genre will quickly be drawn to it".
However, The Guardian added: "In the end, the show does not pull it together. Instead, there is a sense of several soapy subplots bumping against each other, but never really gelling."
Fans were also mixed, one on IMDb saying they were "hooked" and "really enjoying" it, another writing that they "highly recommend watching this if you enjoy well-told and interesting stories". Yet a third suggested it "has potential but missed the mark".
The Twelve is available on ITVX in the UK.
