David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker are among the latest batch of guest stars said to be joining Disney's hit comedy-crime series Only Murders in the Building, which is coming back for its sixth season – and heading over to London.
Just last week, Absolutely Fabulous icon Jennifer Saunders was announced along with Simone Ashley (Bridgerton), Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper), and Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters), to name a few.
Now, Deadline is reporting another star-studded list of additions, with Rivals villain and Doctor Who legend David Tennant leading the pack. No stranger to a crime drama, the beloved Scottish actor has previously led ITV's widely-acclaimed Broadchurch, as well as taking on roles in Netflix anthology Criminal: UK and the BBC's Inside Man.

What to Read Next
Only Murders centres on the fictional crime-solving trio of Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin), and Oliver (Martin Short), who investigate a series of mysteries through their podcast.
Deadline also reports that production on season six is already under way in the UK, which will be the very first time that the comedy-crime series has been set anywhere other than the United States.
In May, Steve Martin posted a photo on Instagram with his leading co-stars in London, joking that the show is "Only Murders in the Whatever..."
The series has proven hugely popular with audiences and critics alike, with Only Murders currently sitting with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 95% across its five seasons so far.
Guardian's review of season four read: "This kind of clever, long-game plotting means Only Murders is genuinely gripping as a murder mystery. It's not a perfect series, but it's close: this show remains an extremely rare example of a comedy-drama that does both equally, and incredibly, well."
Decider said "at this point Only Murders In The Building rides on the chemistry among Martin, Short and Gomez, and in Season 4, that chemistry is well-established", with FandomWire adding that it is "still one of the most entertaining series on the air because of its outstanding cast".
Pop Culture Maniacs said of season five: "By leaning into our core three much more, and allowing the guest stars to be the additional flavor that heightens but doesn't overwhelm the series, season five of Only Murders in the Building is a return to form that I suspect will make fans much happy."
And with even more exciting guest stars now on the horizon for season six, there's lots for fans to look forward to.
Only Murders in the Building season 6 is set to air on Disney+ and Hulu. Seasons 1-5 can be found on the same platforms.
