Benidorm may have concluded eight years ago, but the beloved ITV sitcom is still going strong. Amid rumours that the series will be rebooted, a special celebration is taking place to commemorate a major milestone.

With the sitcom airing the first of its 74 episodes in February 2007, the 20th anniversary is fast approaching. And to celebrate the occasion, a special tour will be heading around UK venues in March 2027.

Titled An Audience with Benidorm, the live shows will give fans the chance to spend an evening in the company of much-loved characters, with Sherrie Hewson - who plays Joyce Temple-Savage - being the first confirmed cast member to appear.

As per the logline, the tour promises "plenty of laughs, memories and brilliant stories", with various stars taking a "fascinating" trip down memory lane. There will be a Q+A with the audience, as well as a meet-and-greet opportunity.

Singing duo Han & Fran, who finished in ninth place in Britain's Got Talent last year, will host the tour. Further stars will be announced in due course, with the shows taking place at various Glee Clubs across the country.

The first live show will take place in Cardiff on 8 March 2027, before heading to Birmingham and Glasgow across the next two days. The final tour date is in Leeds on 11 March, with more information, including ticket details, available here.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining An Audience with Benidorm," said Hewson. "Joyce is such an iconic character to play, and to step back into that world with the fans who have loved the show for so many years is incredibly special."

"Benidorm has always had a unique magic, and this live show is a wonderful chance to celebrate all of that together. Audiences can expect plenty of stories, surprises and a huge dose of the fun that made the show so beloved," she added.

"As Benidorm celebrates 20 years since it burst on to our screens, I wanted to create something that pays tribute to such an iconic comedy and gives fans the chance to come together," said Jack Woodhouse of Our Rita Entertainment.

"Audiences can expect plenty of behind-the-scenes gossip, and the chance to meet some of their favourite stars in a much more up-close-and-personal setting," he added, while teasing that more "exciting names" would be disclosed soon.

The tour comes amid rumours that the sitcom could be brought back by ITV, with series creator Derren Litten confirming in April 2025 that he had held talks with the network over a possible reboot.

"Have I been talking to ITV in the last few months? Yes I have," he teased. "Have ITV commissioned a special or a series at the moment? No. Might they in the next few weeks [or] couple of months? Yeah they might."

An Audience with Benidorm begins in Cardiff Glee Club on 8 March 2027, while Benidorm streams on ITVX.
