The Hardacres fans finally know when season two is set to hit their screens. The period drama, based on the series of novels by C L Skelton, follows the titular Hardacre family as they rise from poverty to incredible wealth, and the highs and lows that follow.
The second season of the show will follow the family as they head into 1895, dealing with further monumental changes to their everyday lives, including a brand new enemy in Michele Dotrice's Lady Imelda Hansen.
Following the release of the season two trailer that showed us various familiar faces and new cast members, the release date for new episodes on 5 has been confirmed - and fans don't have long to wait.

The premiere for The Hardacres season two on 5 will be at 9pm on 14 May, with episodes streaming after.
An official synopsis teases: "It’s 1895, and modernity is arriving at Hardacre Hall – bringing with it electricity, new ideas, and new relationships.

Claire Cooper and Liam McMahon are set to return as Mary and Sam Hardacre alongside Adam Little, Shannon Lavelle, and Zak Ford-Williams as their children.
Julie Graham will reprise her role as Ma, with other returning cast members including Holly Sturton, Cathy Belton, Owen Roe, Ingrid Craigie, and Sarah Agha.
As well as Dotrice as Lady Imelda, season two newcomers include Bad Sisters' Niall McNamee as Edward Blackwood, and Edward Mitchell as Arthur Lewis.
The Hardacres season two will be released on 5 at 9pm on 14 May.
