Eve Myles' new BBC thriller The Guest will debut on TV tonight.

The series follows the unconventional and intense relationship between wealthy entrepreneur Fran and her cheerful young cleaner Ria.

When Ria falls on hard times, Fran is more than happy to provide her with some life advice. But their toxic friendship soon takes a dark turn and Ria finds herself entangled in a dangerous world of secrets and murder.

Described by the BBC as an "addictive, fast-paced, twisty thriller", The Guest will air its first episode at 9pm tonight on BBC One. It will later be available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

The four-part drama stars Broadchurch's Myles as Fran, with Black Doves' Gabrielle Creevy playing Ria.
