An all-new Harlan Coben series is heading to screens soon, with Prime Video revealing the release date and first-look photos for Lazarus.
Based on an original story idea from the Fool Me Once and Missing You author, the new thriller series sees Bill Nighy and Sam Claflin play father and son in a "mysterious" tale.
All six episodes of Lazarus will be released on Prime Video on 22 October worldwide, with Claflin and Nighy seen in their respective roles in new teaser images.
"Joel Lazarus (Claflin) returns home after his father Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (Nighy) dies by suicide and begins to have disturbing experiences that can't be explained," reads the official show synopsis.
"He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father's death and his sister's murder 25 years ago."

Teasing plenty of drama from Lazarus, Coben revealed a difficult relationship between Joel and his late father with difficult feelings coming to the forefront after Jonathan's death.
"He always felt like his father blamed him in part for his sister's murder," he told EW. "So all of these things, all these family dynamics and twisty mysteries are going to come together in an emotional explosion."
Typical of a Coben drama, Claflin also promised plenty of red herrings and cliffhangers. "There are so many elements to it that kind of keep you wanting more," he said.

The supporting cast includes Nightsleeper actor Alexandra Roach who plays Jenna Lazarus, Joel's surviving sister, with Kate Ashfield (of Shaun of the Dead fame) playing Detective Alison Brown.
Lazarus also stars Am I Being Unreasonable?'s David Fynn and Karla Crome who respectively play Seth McGovern and Bella Catton.
Lazarus marks another collaboration between Coben and BAFTA-winning screenwriter Danny Brocklehurst, who previously worked together on Fool Me Once and Stay Close. In addition to starring, All the Devils Are Here star Claflin acts as executive producer on the series.
Lazarus will be released on Prime Video on 22 October.
